Dr. Fiona Dean is a Chiropractor with over 20 years experience. Fiona is committed to providing safe, effective chiropractic care to everyone. Supporting healthy spines and nervous systems throughout life’s journey from newborn babies to older generations.
Fiona grew up on a farm at Phillip Island playing lots of sport, dancing and riding horses. She has lived locally in Victoria’s South West since 2002, where she is raising her family. Together with her husband Simon they have four children.
Fiona has worked as a Chiropractor in Ballarat, Warrnambool and Terang and her friendly face is familiar to many. She says “it is now time to bring her Chiropractic care closer to home”. Fiona is interested in many sports, previously playing netball and squash and riding horses - she now plays tennis.
After high school Fiona lived in Canada for a year and then studied at the University of Melbourne achieving a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Bachelor of Science (Physiology, Anatomy). Her Chiropractic journey started as a teenager when she received fantastic chiropractic care that was effective in keeping her on the sporting field. Fiona knew her interests in human movement and helping people were best suited to a life of chiropractic.
Fiona studied at Chiropractic at RMIT where she obtained her Bachelor of Health Science/Bach of Science (Chiropractic) with Honours. While studying she worked in numerous Chiropractic Clinics as a Chiropractic Assistant. She undertook courses in SOT – Sacral Occipital Technique, Activator Adjusting Technique and many in Paediatric Neurodevelopment.
Each year Fiona undertakes Professional Development studies to further her knowledge and skill base.
